Default 2004 deluxe from 2002 deluxe

Thanks for your prompt response. Hopefully I'll find my CD
and won't have to bother.

Yes, you can convert the 2002 file to 2004. The Money file password is not
in any way linked to the machine account or SID.

Yes. Just double-click it after installing 2004. The
expected behaviour is the creation of a .m10 backup and
your file should convert to 2004 format and come up on the
screen.

The Money password is internal to the file. As long as you
know that password you should be able to open it.

I just had to rebuild my computer for unrelated reasons.
My money file was on a partition which is still intact.
The problem is, I can't find my Money 2002 Deluxe Cd. I'm
thinking about just purchasing 2004 Deluxe which brings up
2 questions.

1. When I install 2004 Deluxe, can I open my money file
created in 2002 Deluxe?

2. My money file was password protected. Since I rebuilt
my machine, I do not have the same user account SID's.
Will this be a problem? If so, is there anyway to get
around it?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance
