Default Re: OFX Updates Down

Updates have been dysfunctional all month due to improvements Don't bother
deleting and re-adding, just keep trying -- check the network status page (the
link is in the lower right corner of the online update status page).
Currently, sync issues are listed as being 'under investigation'.

While Vanguard does have direct OFX, as far as I know, WAMU data is
either fetched via CashEdge or web.

Keep an extra backup when you try things. File-> Restore is your
undo. Sometimes disabling online access for a bank, and then setting
up the account again will get things working. I don't know about
this case.

Alternatively,
http://support.wamu.com/knowbase/root/public/wm2004.htm says you
could download an OFX file via WAMU web server. I don't know how
current that web page is.

Default OFX Updates Down

Washinton Mutual has been down since 6/10. My Vanguard appears to be updating.

I noticed an erroneous entry for my Washington Mutual account dated
6/29/2006. This may be causing the "intermittent update errors" reported on
the MSN status page. Since I have seen the entry, I have not been able to
update. The transaction was automated and I am unable to delete it. Maybe
it will work again after that date.

Asside from deleting the accounts and starting over, when will the update
service start working for Washington Mutual? Has anyone else experienced
this and what was your work-around?

Thanks,

Donald Kendig
