| Great -- after I've reset my MSN Money file and turned off sync It appearsto be what I'm running into, though that network status message wasn't there earlier when I checked ;( Cal Learner-- MVP <via_newsgroup[at]please.tnx> wrote: - quote - > In microsoft.public.money, Ben wrote: > > Since the MSN Money maintenance that lasted days, I haven't been able to > > sync. > > I've tried turning it off in Money06, resetting MSN Money, and re-adding the > > accounts -- but the don't 'take', re-requesting the login info for each > > account > > even though it's correct. | Even though the so called maintenance was completed, it looks as though Microsoft still has some problems with or because of what the maintenance was. The network status page http://moneycentral.msn.com/common/networkstatus.asp show the following information. "Adding or Updating accounts in Money 2005, Money 2006 or on MSN Money When: 6/12/2006 Effect: When attempting to add an account or update an existing account, the process may fail. Duration: Under investigation. We expect to have this resolved shortly." I am hoping that it is not another week of no synchronizing!! | I also am having this issue. I tried creating a new passport account, but am not sure exactly how to copy my current info in money and reassociate it with a new account without losing anything or re-setting up all my account synchronization. What a pain!!! I have been with MM for years, but am lately thinking that maybe I should be looking into Quicken... | I'm having the same problem. However, I was able to work around the problem (in a rather unacceptible manner, for me at least) by creating a new Money file with a new Passport account. It was frustrating because I use(d) MSN Bill Pay and had to cancel it on my old account and sign up under the new Passport account to get it working in MS Money correctly. I'm going to continue using Quicken and see if Money 2007 addresses any of these issues (I'm not holding my breath). | Since the MSN Money maintenance that lasted days, I haven't been able to sync. I've tried turning it off in Money06, resetting MSN Money, and re-adding the accounts -- but the don't 'take', re-requesting the login info for each account even though it's correct. I tried creating a new Passport account and adding the accounts there, same thing. It's as if the links between CashEdge and Yodlee are both down, though I don't have any idea and am not sure how to contact MS for support on this. |
