Default Re: Updating Bank of America account.

short answer... UHG...

I was able to login at BoA with all of their new account stuff, but Money is
down. If I stop being able to synch, about 98% of my reason for using the
product will be gone.

*snarl*

I've run into this, among other things, since the prolonged 'maintenance'
downtime that recently ended at the MSN Money site.

I gave up after 60 minutes of hold-time at B of A Online Banking support, so
others must be calling about this as well. Without actually speaking to
support people to sort it out, I think I can make a pretty good guess:

B of A (WA and ID) accounts sync via Yodlee. Yodlee has not been updated to
reflect the new login settings for B of A (WA), however, their option for B of
A (WA and ID) is gone, now it's just Idaho and there is no option for
Washington State accounts. From posts regarding other states, WA will
eventually re-appear with new login settings, or be offered via B of A directly
at around $10 a month. While MSN Money utilizes Yodlee for B of A sync, it
hasn't been updated to reflect the most current Yodlee accounts available for
sync -- making it still possible to add WA accounts, but they won't work. I'd
imagine it'll also reflect just the Idaho option soon, and Washington State
account settings will disappear there. For now, it looks as though WA State B
of A customers can go the B of A site and download transactions there, but not
at MSN Money -- may as well turn sync for B of A off for now

All-in-all, I'd say sync in general with MSN Money and Money06 is a mess and
definitely a deterrent for using the product (all sync has stopped working for
me). The concept is great though, getting most all your syncing in one spot --
the execution is horrible and I have a lot of work to do now to figure out just
what's up with all my accounts. You'd kinda think with all those days of
downtime for maintenance, this could've been resolved then -- but, I don't
think it's directly related, has more to do with the B of A change and Yodlee.

Default Updating Bank of America account.

Good morning!

I have two BoA accounts (WA) that I synch with MS Money. The synch is
failing this morning, and when I hit the BoA site, they have completed
updated/changed logon proceedure now with sitekeys, new user ID, etc etc.

How do I update MS Money to reflect this change? I *REALLY* hope that it
isnt remove the existing BoA account and add it back.. assuming Money will
understand or deal with the new logon proceedures.

Anyone else seeing this or know how to update the logon proceedures?
