Don't know what to say, maybe it has to do with the Business version. I
have reinstalled Money 2002 on many different computers and operating
systems and never had any problem. I do not use a passport. I don't know
what announcements are and do not recall any Let Us Know What you Think
messages. I would have cancelled or ignored anything I saw like that.

What are critical updates? I have used Money everyday for 15 + years and do
not recall that. So called Money Updates that occur when you download
transaction data or stock quotes are certainly not critical and I always
cancel them. I don't want MSFT downloading any code into my software that
might interfere with Money's operation. Money Updates that occur when you
download does update the list of banks and brokers but you don't actually
need that info to connect to your financial institutions.
