Mutual Fund prices (NAV) not updated f.. When: 6/29/2006 g.. Effect: When looking at the prices of some mutual funds you may notice that the date of the last price update is not current. h.. Even though the date is incorrect, the price has been updated. We are working with our data provider to get the date corrected. i.. ---------------------------------------- j.. Updating accounts in Money 2005, Money 2006 or on MSN Money may fail intermittently k.. When: 6/16/2006 l.. Effect: When attempting to update an account, the process may fail. m.. 6/26 Status: An update was released on June 22nd to improve performance. We are also working on others that will be released as they are finished. Account acccess should be better. Effect: The issues below have been fixed as of June 29th. r.. a.. Deluxe Portfolio too large when enlarged. After enlarging the Portfolio, you have to scroll down to see the totals and/or to use the horizontal scroll bar. This is now fixed as of June 29th. b.. Portfolio appears blank in the MSN Explorer browser. If you are using the Basic Portfolio in MSN, it appears blank. But if you scroll down, you see your data. This is now fixed as of June 29th. c.. Accounts not updating in Money Plus. Some accounts may not update in MSN Explorer. Try going to My Accounts via Internet Explorer, sign in with the same Passport and try updating the accounts there. Be sure to reference the Money Plus Scheduled Event below. This is now fixed as of June 29th. -- I got the above message when I tried to "update prices now". So the 5/19 issues are " now fixed" as of 6/29. However, they still can't get their provider to update funds prices. Do you think that WHOEVER is THE contact at Microsoft to " handle the Yodlee pricing issue", is worried about his job ? I would think that the T+C's of the agreement would have SOME penalty for Yodlee and that MSFT would get someone else to provide the service ( it can't get worse). | Can't you use one of the free online services that provide current or prior day mutual fund quotes + free portfolios? eg Morningstar or finance yahoo or smartmoney ( not sure if it does les mutuals ). MS finance is all about MSN marketing. Wise up. | Yep, Money is frustrating. But it's also a very cheap program with few alternatives. Money has discovered that while the public often demands first class service, they're rarely willing to pay for it. My copy of M2004P cost $12 plus shipping. For what I little I paid, Money provides far more than $12 in value, even if it is buggy and the updates sometimes slow and inaccurate.
