| I've had similar problems with MS Money 2006 in the past where they do maintenance on the synch with the moneycentral site over the weekend. The first two times that the account updates consistently failed, I removed the update options and had to rebuild the synch profile when all I had to do was wait for Microsoft to fix their problems. Now I just wait for them to fix it and don't monkey around with my settings anymore. But my god, this has been down since last Friday night. It's been almost 72 hours now. I'll know that the synch is back up when try to update a single account and the second section ("MS Money Synchronization") section immediately changes from "Your last call encountered an error" to "Your call was successful". It's not worth trying to synch all of your accounts. Just try one and uncheck the stock price updates. When one of them starts working again, all of them should be OK. Hope this helps. | Roger, See my resposne to your previous post. This looks to be an issue with MSN Money. I tried removing the MSN Money synch, but that seems to have removed my automatic acount updates. Now when I try to add them back, I can't choose the name of the financial institution, since it says "The list is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." [at]#$%^&*()! | More information... I somehow got to an "Account details" page in moneycentral. It shows the missing transactions. It seems that the problem is that the transactions did not get to my computer. | Roger, I found a post entitled "Help! Update trouble since May 20th" posted yesterday 6/4/06, and Cal Learner-- MVP replied. He gave this link: http://moneycentral.msn.com/common/networkstatus.asp Which is the network status for Money. The first one says: "MSN Money syncronization in Money 2005 or Money 2006 When: 6/2/2006 Effect: Maintenance is being performed on syncronization between MSN Money and Money 2005 and 2006. During this maintenance, Money 2005 and 2006 will not be able to get updates for accounts that utilize syncronization with MSN Money.Duration: We'll reenable this as soon as possible." That certainly looks to be our issue, and coincides with the time-frame where mine stoped updating. Checking the summary says "Your account information is being updated, which may take a few minutes. If this message appears for more than 5 minutes, try again."
