| I'm glad you like it. I don't. Different people use financial management software for different reasons. I use it so I DON'T have to enter every transaction manually. If I wanted to do that, I would just use Excel. Clearly, you and I have different points of view on this. |

Here is how you can get ALL your credit card and bank detail transactions into Money WITHOUT paying the credit card or bank one extra cent. It will even allow you to avoid all the error corrections you currently have to do when something goes wrong with the download. Every evening just take five minutes of your time and go to your Money program. Enter all of your daily credit card and bank check & deposit transactions into Money manually. It is really easy. You can even enter your regular scheduled transactions with just a click or two. When you get into the habit of doing it yourself you will find you are happier because YOU are in control. You will find that your Money financial program is really accurate and more understandable because YOU understand what you did to get the information into Money. Try it, you may really LIKE IT. | Citicards do download nicely through direct OFX (and from the website). I've had no trouble there. Anyway, I closed my BoA credit card account partly because of this and partly because I wasn't using it anyway. MBNA has the same problem because BoA took it over. And I can't close that one because I'm using it. It's not downloading from the website at MBNA or at BoA. |

| BOA has recently (about a week ago) installed a patch that will not let credit card only accounts download into money. I spoke with several different techs yesterday from BOA before I was able to get this information. Apparently, only checking account holders who pay the $10.00 (approx) fee per month were suppose to be able to download through MS Money. However, they said that many credit card only accounts have been able to download without a fee.... they had been getting around this block. BOA patched this a week ago. When I called yesterday, the tech had already had 8 calls about it that morning. Because of all the calls, this tech was taking it to her supervisor. Perhaps the more complaints about this problem, the better for getting it fixed. On another note, credit card holders are also not able to see past statements, but checking account holders can access this as well. You can see past transactions, but not statements as you would receive them that tell your statement balance at the end of the month. Again, I complained that credit card only accounts were not treated the same as checking account holders. And to top it all off, I had just installed Internet Explorer 7 and many of their webpages are really messed up, such as the customer service page. You can't see the first words in the hyperlinks. Tech said they were aware of that problem and it would be fixed when Internet Explorer 7 came out of beta. If it wasn't for the credit cared benefits I receive from them, I would drop them like a hot potato. Anna |
