Go to File -> Password Manager -> Remove. Click "Done."

The issue is not one of how to use a Hotmail account. The issue is how
to break the connection between MSMoney and Hotmail once Microsoft
tricks you into hooking your MSMoney with your Hotmail account.

The reason to break this link are:
· Microsoft has shown total disregard to consumers by blocking people
from using their desktop MSMoney during prime time while Microsoft does
some updates for a day omn their site.
· Microsoft then produced an error message indicating it was a user
error
· Microsoft did not inform anyone that they were doing this

I have a hotmail account and do not use it for Money so that is not a
problem at all. You can also use a hotmail account for MSN chat. I
have 4 of the 5 chat programs (ie AIM, ICQ, etc) via Trillian.
Naturally you can use it for email too. Some use it or similar for
junk email and abandon the id when it gets too much junk mail.

Nice site, great help. Much better than Microsoft helpless
information.

I really liked the question on the umpmfaq.info site:

" I setup a Passport for access to my file because I thought I needed
to, now I realize Passport is evil. How do I get rid of it? "

I think that sums up the problem nicely.

Default How do I remove requirement for Hotmail account

I have gone into Tools -> Settings -> "Access your Money data on the
Web" and told it to quit storing my personal data on MSN Money site.
But MS Money still wants to log into the Hotmail account. How do I get
rid of the login to Hotmail account?
