I would suggest creating a spreadsheet to do this. OpenOffice is a
free office suite including spreadsheet CALC modeled after SUN office.

Careful there. Those versions did not allow you to change the symbol
for an option. Think about LEAPS that get within 9 months of
expiration. Think about the fact that options routinely re-use
symbols after expiration. And while in use for one security, you

You could use the old method of calling an option a stock.
Sell/CoverShort for $0 to expire. That does not do anything to
integrate handling of the case of exercised options tho.

I have not tried to replicate your bug. Does the option position
appear if you use the AsOf box to go before the option expired?

If you do a SellToClose or BuyToClose for $0 instead of expire
transaction, does that work around the problem? Or is the fact that
the date is past expiration make the option not appear?

After opening 2 tickets, number of unanswered emails and waiting for 2
months I still didn't received final respond from MS Tech Support. So much
for free support. This is how we leaned ... See problem description below.
This problem starts some where around Money 2003.
I am thinking about going back from my 2006 version to 2003 or 2004 version.
I found a couple of messages on this site, from people who had the same
problem. Does any body know for sure, what was the last version that didn't
have this problem - 2002, 2003, 2004, so I can try to reinstall it in place
of 2006?
Problem description:
In Money 2006 Portfolio Manager, does not show closed option trades with
the past expiration dates, even when the "show closed positions" is checked.
The transactions are still there in the transactions records, just not
visible in portfolio manager. This problem exists starting some where around
Money 2003.
