The answer to the first question is easy. Go to Categories & Payees|Payees,
click on them, and r-click|Delete them. Existing transactions will not be
changed. What Payees show up in the pulldowns and autocompletes will be
changed.

I don't understand your second issue. I assume you are talking about the
autofill for, say, an account name as the target of a Transfer transaction.
You say these accounts no longer exist. As in don't exist in the Money file?
Don't exist in real life but do exist in the Money file? If the latter, have
you marked them as Closed Account on the Account Details page? In the test I
just did in M04, a Transfer autofill will not autofill with names of closed
accounts that are so marked in their Account Details.
