It is present for Money 2006. One thing that works differently: in> there is a .reg file on the CD called "PROVLOGS.REG". When you > execute this file, you can investigate the request sent to the bank > and their response. Money 2004 the setting is sticky. But Money 2006, you must run the ..reg file after Money is open and before you do your update. You can make your own file to run by copying the four lines (including the blank line) into a file named *.reg, and running that file: =======================begin p6.reg================================= REGEDIT4 [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Money\15.0\On line] "FLogProviderData"=dword:00000001 =======================begin p6.reg================================= So open Money 2006. Run p6.reg (or whatever you call it). Answer yes to the pop-ups Do AccountList-> UpdateNow. Expect to find the files (named *RQ.txt and *RS.txt) in the same folder as your Money file. The *RS.txt files are the OFX files. |

| I don't know whether or not this is available in M06, but in M04 there is a .reg file on the CD called "PROVLOGS.REG". When you execute this file, you can investigate the request sent to the bank and their response. Here's the description from the PSSNOTES.TXT file that accompanies this file: provlogs.reg - This registry key turns on automatic call logging. Whenever an online banking OFX call occurs, the files are saved in the directory where the Money data file is stored. nologs.reg - This key turns off automatic call logging. You might try turning on the logging and seeing what the bank's error message is. That might help you figure out what's going one. | I am having a problem where Money 2006 Deluxe is no longer automatically uploading my Mobil Gas Card transactions. It keeps telling me "update unsuccessful". The comments were telling me to try to re-do my online setup. I went to my online setup settings for this card and it is asking for my account number and password. Mobil recently changed their online access through their website where you no longer use your account number and a password to access your account, but use a login that you choose and a password. I have tried using the account number and my password to set up my online access through money, as well as having tried my login and password like I do on the website and Money will not set up for automatic online transaction retrieval as it used to do. Is this a known glitch? |
