How large is very large?

What OS and CPU do you have? How much RAM do you have?

First, avoid the temptation to archive. That is unlikely to
accomplish what you want.

File-> RepairMoneyFile-> QuickFileRepair could help speed a tad, but
may not. It won't hurt. Consider defragging your hard drive.

You could make a copy of your file under another name, and remove
Passport from that copy. If the function is better for you, stay
with the copy.

Consider collecting fewer quotes for securities to keep the file
growth down.

Default money 2006 small business

My file is very large. Is there anything I can do to help the program move
faster. Someone helped me with 2004 and it seemed to make a differece. Maybe
there are bells and whistles that I dont need much. It is frustrating to wait
for somthing to record. Thanks.
