Most probably you owed money on the credit card and entered what you
owed as a negative balance when you set up the account. In the
account details, change the opening balance to a positive number.

Default Credit Card accounts not being totaled correctly

I just fixed my extremely slow (and frequently frozen) MS Money 2005 account
by using the "Fix File" options, and the spped is back up to normal.

But now I've got a new problem with credit card accounts. If I have a
balance of $3000 due on a credit card and make a $1000 payment, M2005 shows
that I now owe $4000.

Any ideas on a fix?
