OK. We are going to try to get that ".5." higher. In IE6, start with Tools-> Options-> Security-> LocalIntranet-> DefaultLevel which may be sufficient. If that does not let you updated, and if you are using XP, I would try creating a new user with Administrator privilege. Switch to that user and start Money with a new blank file. Let Money download the updates as that user. The theory is that if the problem is an IE6 setting, you will get default settings for the new user. If you succeed this way, it would accomplish the download, and it would point toward the reason the other did not work. You can delete the new user later, and your regular IE6 settings will not have been changed. - quote - > "Cal Learner-- MVP" wrote: > > In microsoft.public.money, dehermit wrote: > > > > Every time I start Money 2005 Standard, it tells me that the automatic > > > updates have failed. | Every time I start Money 2005 Standard, it tells me that the automatic updates have failed. When I check the saved passwords, I find that Money has not properly saved them, and has either added or subtracted a digit. When I change them back, Money will sometimes update, then change the passwords again. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. I should also add, that Money is also not recognizing OFX files from any of my banks. |
