There are various tabs that allow you to change various things about the reports. Transactions by Category would probably be useful to you. |

| I might add that a Transactions by Category report customized to limit the dates to your tax year might be a lot more helpful for doing taxes. | If you are not using Advanced Reports, try that and report back. If you are, try customizing the Spending by Category Rows & Columns|Columns to Months or Years and Rows to Categories or Subcategories. Spending by Payee can be customized similarly.
