| I think that they are combined because in most cases they are part of the same utility bill. If they are part of the same utility bill, I don't see a reason to separate them. If you receive them as two separate bills then it makes sense to separate the categories in Money. Use whatever works best for your situation. No. Use the groups that make sense. Feel free to delete the> Is there any advantage or benefit of using MS Standard Categories? > For example, there is category "Water & Sewer" which is standard. | Make categories that work for you. Be sure and get the tax line information correct where it's relevant. | Using Money Dlx 2004. Is there any advantage or benefit of using MS Standard Categories? For example, there is category "Water & Sewer" which is standard. I prefer to have "Sewer" and "Water" as seperate groups, however, am I overlooking something by not using the standard group? I use budgeting but not the debt reduction planner, if that makes any difference. Bob |
