You have the system event log to look at (Control Panel > Admin Tools Event Viewer), and also of course safe mode to boot into, in which you
can run Money and try and reproduce the problem.

Dave,

The PC goes to a blank screen and reboots.

PC is an IBM Thinkpad with Win XP. IE 6, MS Office and Outlook are really
the only apps on it. I never had stability problems before and haven't seen
this type of behavior since Win 3.1. Stability issues only happen when I am
exercising Money 2006 and did not occur with Money 2003.

Hi Tom,

Definetly not a know problem, this is very likely a hardware/os issue. Do
you recieve any sort of error when this occurs or does the pc just go to a
black screen and reboot?

Default System crashes

Sorry about the last blank post, entered too soon.

I am having severe stability problems with Money 06. I have worked with MS
to correct bad transactions from the upgrade from Money 03 and now have an
error free database file per the repair utility. Problem is, very often when
I access a report, Money causes my laptop to reboot. Is this happening to
others? Known problem? Is MS addressing it?
