Money cannot open a version localized for another country. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;197668 http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;178830 Get a later version for the original country, or consider QIF export/import. - quote - > If I cannot convert these files does anyone know where I can purchase an
Unfortunately there is only a an International Standard version, but> International version of 2006 deluxe? I would not expect it to open a US file if it did exist. |

| Export > Import comes to mind. I have never done this so you need some advice from experts here. What a convoluted thrown together piece of marketing crap. MS has created more support expense for the company for the sake of some marketing assholes. If it wasn't so cheap in the US I wouldn't bother with it. I expect it to save me time and keep me informed and not waste my time with useless graphics and screens I can not read at 1024x768 resolution. arthur == On Thu, 20 Apr 2006 20:03:54 +1200, "Daniel Goymer" <daniel[at]computercare.co.nz> wrote: - quote - > Hey. > I was using MS Money 2004 Deluxe (may have been 2005). | Hey. I was using MS Money 2004 Deluxe (may have been 2005). I upgraded to MS Money 2006, I was unable to find a deluxe version in New Zealand so purchased standard. However I am unable to open the old files and upgrade. Is there anyway I can convert the deluxe file to a standard file. I have no real need for Deluxe so am happy to use standard if possible. If I cannot convert these files does anyone know where I can purchase an International version of 2006 deluxe? Thanks for your help. Regards Daniel Goymer. |
