I suspect you were using US MS Money 2004/2005 Deluxe. Do you
remember the predominate color scheme? It would be green for Money
2004 and blue for 2005.

Money cannot open a version localized for another country.

Get a later version for the original country, or consider QIF
export/import.

Unfortunately there is only a an International Standard version, but
I would not expect it to open a US file if it did exist.

some advice from experts here.

What a convoluted thrown together piece of marketing crap. MS has
created more support expense for the company for the sake of some
marketing assholes. If it wasn't so cheap in the US I wouldn't bother
with it.

I expect it to save me time and keep me informed and not waste my time
with useless graphics and screens I can not read at 1024x768
resolution.

Default Deluxe to Standard

Hey.

I was using MS Money 2004 Deluxe (may have been 2005). I upgraded to MS
Money 2006, I was unable to find a deluxe version in New Zealand so
purchased standard. However I am unable to open the old files and upgrade.
Is there anyway I can convert the deluxe file to a standard file. I have no
real need for Deluxe so am happy to use standard if possible.

If I cannot convert these files does anyone know where I can purchase an
International version of 2006 deluxe?

Thanks for your help.

Regards
Daniel Goymer.
