Mutual Fund Prices

Unfortunately we (me included) are all saps and keep buying the software,
because the only alternative is Quicken, and that doesn't do it for me.
This is the problem with monopolies, or duopolies.

Ditto - same problem here. Some mutual funds have correct value but
incorrect date, others (like Vanguard) incorrect value. Some like Fidelity
are mixed so they can't say it's investment company related. Too mixed.

This is, as you say, a recurring problem. It started back in October, 2005, so
it's been going on for 6 MONTHS! now. And it's worse the last couple of days
than ever before. I have several American Funds funds. They have prices for
4/18, but the date says 4/17. For my Vanguard funds, the prices are from 4/17,
but the date says 4/13. No 4/18 prices are coming in for Vanguard.

Agreed. A chronic problem! Some days the quotes are ok but the dates are

MS (the people they get quotes from) f's this up on a regular basis.
Sometimes they have the prices, but the date is yesterday's, so you don't
get an accurate total change on the day, or days like today they don't
update some quotes at all, so you have n/c.
