I believe there is a page before that which you can skip.

Here's the sequence:

File|New|New File...

(filename) OK

Next

Decline

Yes

(check) I don't want to use a password for my Money file

Next

Skip Account Setup

Finish

(done)

Skip all the set-up procedure which is based on the assumption that you have
an Internet connection. Click on file > new and create a file. Avoid all
questions about Bank URLs and so on.

Thanks for the reply!

So far I've managed to install it and I'm just going through the initial
set-up procedure!

I come stuck at this bit:

Page entitled: "Already have Passport Network Credentials"

I have only 2 options which is a catch 22 situation (No Cancel feature) :-

(1) I already have Passport Network Credentials

(2) I want to set up new Passport Network Credentials

Both options leads to on-line pages.

Now then, since writing, I've found out that a guy at work has it running on
his laptop (no net access) but he can't remember how he did it - he's
offered to try and install mine but I'd rather do it myself.

Kindest regards,

Debi

You should be able to install it without being on the net. When it goes to
setup a file, it will make you think you have to be--but you don't. There is
a cancel/skip/not I really don't want to/please leave me alone on the
subject button.link there. You just have to look carefully.

If you continue to have problems, please describe where it wedges in
detail--screen name/prompt/error message, etc.

Know nothing of the UK version but for the USA...

System requirements list a 56kbs modem.
On back cover of the little booklet in the CD box.
Possibly for updates and fixes from MS?

Since friend obviously has an IP connection then perhaps you can
install it from there.

Default No Internet Access - Installation possible?

Hi, I hope someone out there can help me!

For my Birthday, I've been given MS Money 2006 Deluxe.

However, for the life in me, I can't install it as I'm not on the Internet
at home (I'm sending this from a friend's PC).

I just want to use Money to manage my simple incomings/outgoings.

What's the installation procedure (if any) to install without having to have
it on-line?

Thanks in advance!

Debi :-)
