| Sorry for the delay. Yes, I did upgraded to Money 2006, but as soon as I installed Money for PocketPC,ActiveSync couldn't connect to the new money. So I didn't enter any information and uninstalled instead. How can I get the backup to work? Thank you, Angela "lilola8" wrote: - quote - > I've been using Money 2003 since 2003. | Do you mean you upgraded Money on your desktop to a newer version - for example Money2006? -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | Money, like most software, is not backwards compatible. ie you cannot use a data file made with a newer version of the program than the one you are using. When you upgraded, part of the upgrade procedure should have been to create a backup of the data file for your previous version. For Money 2003, I think it should have a .M11 extension (eg MyMoney.M11). However, you will have to reenter any data you added with the newer version. | I've been using Money 2003 since 2003. I decided to upgrade and I did, but my PDA couldn't connect to Money, so I decided to go back to Money 2003. But now I cannot access my files. The window says that my password is incorrect. How can I get access to my 3 years of financial information? TIA, Angela |
