Money will either say it matched it, or the 'manual' transaction will be a separate entry in the register. In the latter case, click the 'change' button on the downloaded transaction and match it to the other. If the amount of your check is a relatively close match, it should match automatically. You may have to do that once. After that, Money will associate the downloaded payee description with what you've entered as a payee. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| Thanks for the advice Chris. I have it set for the same day right now, but Friday is pay, and I'll see what happens. | Make sure your scheduled transaction posts before you accept the downloaded transaction. Record the scheduled transaction manually, if necessary. I set mine to post automatically 2 days in advance. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL "Scott" <spokriefka[at]incat.com.(donotspam)> wrote in message news:4C437989-8B82-401C-8CC2-E0F3E9BBF054[at]microsoft.com... - quote - > Great thanks!!! | Not if you match the download with the scheduled transaction on the same date, for approximately the same net amount, from the same mapped Payee name. | It won't double post to your check register. You'll have an option to match your paycheck per bank to the automatic one. I usually insert my categorized paycheck before I download it and it matches for me and I just click accept the transaction. Here's the problem I'm dealing with. Ever since I set up my categorized paycheck when I look at the Current Month Budget view Money doubles my income. It seems to only be in current month budget view (i.e. when I drill down to the income detail budgeted categories agree to my monthly paycheck or when I view the yearly budget the income matches my yearly salary).
