I usually enter my transactions manually then match them with the downloads,
so this may not answer your question. I enter the manual transaction as a
transfer between accounts. There is only one entry in each account. Then
when each account downloads, the individual entries in each account match up
with the individual downloads.

I have all my accounts automatically download from my bank. If I transfer
money from one account to another it's the age old expense vs. income issue.
I am aware of the "Special" section of the category list, but I get
duplicates. I believe this has something to do with the automatic
downloading. Since the transfers already show up in each account, when I try
to use the Special Transfer: XXX this is when O get the dups.
