As of today, BankOne accounts are automatically migrated to Chase without
changing any credentials. So, maybe you don't have to change the institution
for ONE?

Fair enough. But where can I find the page that has the "Assign an account
to a bank or broker" button or link? Would that not be the better route to

To cancel existing online service for an account in Money 2005 or
2006, AccountList-> ManageOnlineServices. Click the account. Click
StopUsingOnlineServices.

Now you should be able to change the account settings to the new

Recently, my bank (Bank One) was bought out by another bank (Chase). I
currenly have my Bank One accounts set up for online updates. I have a
Chase credit card, which I also have set up for online updates. I'm trying
to change the institution for my Bank One accounts to be Chase. I tried
doing this in the "Change account settings" page by selecting Chase in the
drop down box for "Financial institution". However, when I try that, I get
the error message:

"You cannot change the financial institution for this account because it is
set up for online services. If you are trying to rename the financial
institution you should use the Rename button on the contact information page
for this financial institution".

Ok, fine. So I click on the "Update contact info for this bank or broker"
right under the account number. On that page, I click the "Rename" button.
After I enter the new name and click the "Ok" button, I get the error
message:

"A bank with the name Chase already exists. You can move individual
accounts into or out of this bank by going to the Set up your accounts in
Money page and then clicking Assign an account to a bank or broker".

The problem is I can't find the "Set up your accounts in Money page" that
has anything resembling "Assing an account to a bank or broker" link or
button anywhere on it. So how can I change my existing Bank One accounts to
Chase?
