The bank provides Microsoft with the criteria. If the criteria are
met for an OFX type server, the password is passed right to the
financial institution's server.

You say "JP Morgan Chase now needs 7 digits". Money thinks you need
4, at least initially. I suggested you check with their support to
find what you really need for this.

I have the credentials from the bank and know which ones to use, it is the
MONEY program which goes and chooses the bank and then says I need 4 digits,
I can't enter my correct userid and password. Or does Money pass this over
to the bank when the setup occurs?

Some institutions use different login credentials for OFX access
than for web access.

For Chase Online Banking Customer Service and Technical Assistance
call 1-877-CHASEPC (24 hours a day, 365 days a year)

Default Money 2006 change online password

My bank changed its online users and passwords. When I try to change it, the
chooses the correct bank but says the password has to be 4 digits. JP Morgan
Chase now needs 7 digits for the password and I can't enter them.
