| Is there anyway I can do this for the monthly report? This month my monthly report says I spent 300 on 'loan' i.e. money that i have lent someone and been paid back in the same month - it has skewed the spending pie chart quite considerably!! how do I customise the monthly reports? thanks!! hannah xx "Hannah Madsen" <hannah[at]angelsharp.com> wrote in message news:e24NW7DUGHA.4384[at]tk2msftngp13.phx.gbl... - quote - > See post below replied to in other forum (the UK forum). > Perfect solution to my problem!! > Hannah > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Glyn Simpson, MVP" <glyn[at]serf.org> Newsgroups: microsoft.public.uk.money > Sent: Saturday, March 25, 2006 5:40 PM > Subject: Re: Net Spending!! > > It is possible that the report is only showing payment types, see > > http://money.mvps.org/faq/article/217.aspx > > > -- > > Glyn Simpson, Microsoft MVP - Money > > http://money.mvps.org > > > Check http://money.mvps.org/faq for tips and fixes for MS Money. | OK, hopefully an easy one here! So I spent 40 quid on shoes, then I took them back and got refunded. So in my clothing category this month I have a postivie transaction of 40 followed a few days later by a negative transaction (in the same category). When however I look at my spending report, it says I have spent 40 on clothing - when I have in fact spent nothing . How do I get it to recognise the negative transaction? This would also apply to my housemate borrowing 20 quid off me, in category 'Tom'. I lent him 20, he paid it back, so I haven't 'spent' 20quid on Tom, it should be 0. Thanks! Hannah |
