Basic register? Or advanced? Look in the upper right corner for light blue
type while in the register view. Are you using transaction forms? Or
entering transactions directly into the register? All of those options may
influence your choices.

If you edit the transaction there should be a drop-down box on the check
number field. Click it if you want a different value in that field,
including <blank> .

Default transaction types

I am using Money 2006, prior to this I was using Money 99. In Money 99 when
entering a transaction in my checking account I had 4 choices (check,
withdrawal, transfer, deposit), now in money 2006 I only have 3 choices
(withdrawal, transfer, deposit). When I choose withdrawal it will
automatically insert the next check number and I will have to delete this
out. Can I create a new transaction type(check) or am I able to stop the
software from inserting a check number. Please help.
