I think at least the newer versions of Money will ignore those
lines.

I think the only difference between QFX and OFX is an extra line or two at
the top of the file. It would be a pain to do it for every download you ever
made, but perhaps is reasonable for working your way through an import for
conversion.

If you can, download an OFX (Money) file without opening it in Money. Do the
same for a QFX file. Open both with Notepad and compare the first few lines.
The differences may be recognizable.

You can try http://www.xs4all.nl/~csmale/mt2ofx/en/index.htm

I also find the program
http://ferraroa.dyndns.org:8200/MnyBank/help/doc.htm useful, but it
doesn't list QFX as one of the formats it can handle.

You may be able to File-> Import that qfx file into Money.

I don't know the exact format by the extension is qfx and Meryll Lynch
calls it a Quicken Web Connect file.

Do you know the format of the file that is provided? Is it a separate
download or a 'behind-the-scenes' type transfer?

Default Convert Quicken Files

My 401(k) provider, Merrill Lynch, only supports statement downloads to
Quicken Web Connect. Is there a way to convert these so Money can accept
them?
