| This is rather interesting - when I went back to the Tax Related transactions report for 2005, I right clicked on one of the 4 entries and then selected customize from the submenu - that took me to Tax Related Transactions with a number of tabs. Under the Category tab, I clicked on the Tax Category and then clicked on the button that said Select Tax Categories and then clicked apply. Then they all showed up in the report. Now why I had to do that, I have no idea. I thought I had done this from the Category settings yesterday, but that did not work. So a mystery, but at least got it to show up (now that I've already finished my taxes and sent them in). Mark |

| Several things come to mind: There is some other customization of the report getting in the way. Somewhere along the way, some logic crept into Money to ask and tag transactions with a tax year. Is there some odd choice on the R-click menu on the transactions in question? (Personally, I've never seen one of these dialog boxes. I don't know whether this tagging is only exposed when entering the transaction or is exposed somewhere after the transaction is entered. Perhaps others could step in here.) Note, in case it wasn't clear, my prior post was referring to the Category settings, not to the Category TAB settings on the report customization. What else is different between the ones that report and the ones that don't? I don't think it applies <= 2004. -- Chris Cowles Gainesville, FL |

| Dick, Checked that - they're all checked to be included - they even show the amount paid to the right for the year 2005. But when I run the report , it still only shows 4. Mark |

| Check the Tax Line association stuff in Category Details for each of your subcategories. | When I run a tax report for 2005, only 4 of my charitable donations showed up. Yet when I go to that category (Charitable Donations) and run a category report for the year, I have about 10 listed. Why isn't the tax report picking them up? Thanks, Mark MS Money 2003 Deluxe |
