They don't care, as long as it more than the required amount.

I changd my payments to match Money's suggestion.
Not sure if the bank will like not getting the exact amount.

Oops. Didn't read well enough to notice that it already was rounding up, and
you didn't want it to.

The rest of my reply still applies.

Does the $0.74 really matter?

Tweak the minimum payment % up slightly, like by enough decimals of a % to
get it to increase by $1.

To make this easier and, if the bank supports it and you don't object, have
the credit card issuer set up a monthly automatic draft for the minimum due.
That way you always know it's done on time and for the absolute minimum
amount. If you use online banking to download the transaction, it will match
to the scheduled bill, even if off by a few cents.

When the other accounts in the DRP are paid down and it's this accounts turn
to get financial attention, revise the payment drafted by the issuer to the
fixed amount you want to pay.

Thanks Dick,

I'll try your suggestion.

I hadn't thought about that issue. I'd go to enter the bill and, if
necessary, change it back before clicking Enter. OTOH, since the mortgage
payment is probably not one you want to play with accelerating, you might
just want to not have DRP manage this one.

Thanks, I was concerned because my bill is also rounded up to 106.00
instead of the 105.26 I will be paying.
Do I record the bill and then change it?

You can't. DRP rounds up. Who knows why. Doesn't really matter besides
change the projected out of debt date by a few seconds or maybe a minute or
two.

Default debt reduction loan rounding payment

Hello,

My debt reduction plan is rounding my loan payment to 106.00 instead 105.26

It will not let me alter it.
The loan account is 105.26
How can I fix this?

Thanks
Frank
