| I would be more inclined to do a file repair. I can't be sure but I think it is in the File menu of the Money program. The only file that matters is the .mny file. Typically My Money.mny. -- Regards Bob Peel, Microsoft MVP - Money For UK tips & fixes see http://support.microsoft.com/default...d=fh;EN-GB;mny. I do not respond to any emails that I have not specifically asked for. | I have been asked to try to solve a DLL problem via email and have only limited information. But maybe someone has a suggestion based on the information I have. I don't use Money and know nothing about the particular program, although I have searched the archives and found nothing similar to her problem. The person is using MS Money 2000, V8.0 and the OS is Win ME. When she attempts to change an interest rate for a land contract, she gets two error messages: Msmoney has caused an error in MNYCORE.DLL. Msmoney will now close. and Msmoney has caused an error in Kernel32.dll. Msmoney will now close. I'm assuming that if the first DLL problem is solved, the second one will be taken care of as well. My guess is that it would be best to uninstall and then reinstall the program. If so, is this a straightforward uninstall through the Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel? If that is what you would recommend, I have the following additional questions: 1) Could you specify exactly which files and or folders she should make a copy of so that she doesn't loose her data? 2) And also, how can she import the data back in when she has reinstalled? TIA, Harry |
