| You can PARTLY deal with the Bill Summary page issue. If you put a check mark in the box in the Pay On Line Column, that amount will be subtracted from your account and appear on the bottom bar as in previous versions. Unfortunately, not every entry has a box in that column. It excludes Deposits, Direct Debits and Transfers so this feature is often not very useful. -- Peace, BobJ "Ryan C. Payne" <Ryan C. | I cannot believe this. I upgraded over the weekend from Money 2004. The first thing that I was miffed about was the lack of Money Express. But the fact that the Bills Summary page does not show the account balance, and the fact that you can no longer select more than one item at a time to determine what paying the set of bills will do to your account makes this software totally useless. Now I need to see if I can reload Money 2004 and recover my data. What do we need to do to get Microsoft to fix this? This is complete crap! Ryan "chubba27" wrote: - quote - > Yes.. | Yes.. I love this feature in the preceding versions of Money. In fact, 2 places so far that I know of.... 1) if you watch the bill video from within M06, you will see that this feature works (or least shows up). You may have to pause it when you see the appropiate screen, but it is there. 2) if you read any of the money2006 books, in the section that explains bills...you will see the same thing. You have to be observant to the particualr screen prints in the books, but again, it is there. Until this is fixed, or what ever happens, I have reverted to using M03 again. Let's do get this fixed. | Actually, I originally thought that they removed the feature, but now I believe it's a bug. If you don't have too many bills, remove the "Show Calendar" check so that there are white rows in the grid. Then click on those rows and it will show your remaining balance only with the last bill on the list taken into account. I think that if they removed the feature, this wouldn't occur. I've been meaning to file another issue with tech support and show them this as proof of a bug, but I haven't had time. The lack of support towards this issue in both the community and at Microsoft is quite apalling. I'd love to keep the topic going, does anyone else have insight or any experience with the issue? | This is ridiculous. I have no idea why they would drop such a useful feature. I hate the software now. I loved Money 03 and such it was bering retired, figured I would upgrade to the newer version. Without that feature, this software to me is almost useless. Ha! Makes managing your bills easier. What ever. Good going MS! Way to improve things. Way to simpify things. | Will balance summaries be supported on the bill page in Money 2006? Has it been dropped, or is it a bug? The question has been asked several times and appears to keep being ignored. |
