Money 05. I setup the transaction download via the Online Manager by
searching for the account (eg. Ameritrade) and then providing my user login
and password. Not sure whether that qualifies as a "direct" download.

Is this in M05/6? Is the download "direct" or "third party"?

The answers may help others help you. Personally, I don't download
transaction data. I believe I avoid a lot of problems and headaches this
way.

Yes, this is related to previously downloaded transaction data.

I suggest you contact Microsoft directly on this, if you bought
Money at retail, and your free support period is still in effect.

Default Money Bug? "Deposit" transactions showing as "payments"

My investment account's "cash transactions" shows some dividend values as
being payments rather than deposits. Also, some stock "sell" transactions
show as payments rather than deposits. I changed the negative dividend
values manually and re-typed the word "sell" in the Activity box (which
aligns the Money transactions with my Investment Account, and seems to fix
the issue). However when I close and reopen Money, the same exact
transactions go back to the way they were... incorrectly showing my balances.

Do you know what is causing this? How do I fix this issue permanently? I
have tried repairing the Money file as well as re-installed Money to no avail.
