Personally, I don't download transaction data. I believe I avoid a lot of problems and headaches this way. Also, some stock "sell" transactions show as payments rather than deposits. I changed the negative dividend values manually and re-typed the word "sell" in the Activity box (which aligns the Money transactions with my Investment Account, and seems to fix the issue). However when I close and reopen Money, the same exact transactions go back to the way they were... incorrectly showing my balances. Do you know what is causing this?
