I am having the same issue. I deleted the AMEX account. Reinstalled it.
This months transactions showed up. Loaded Oct. 2005 .ofx
transactions...that worked.

When I loaded the rest of my statements...Nov, Dec, etc. the Money account
register (in the "banking list") show 519 transactions to review....but when
I open the register (advanced-view all transactions), they aren't
there....only the ones that initially downloaded when I reloaded the account,
and April 2006 (present).

Any ideas where these transactions are hiding...it's driving me batty!!!

Confirm you are using advanced register.

Then create a test Money file with File-> New-> NewFile. Name it
something like "testfile". Click Decline during setup to not have a
Passport on that file.

Then File-> Import the OFX file. It will help you set up a new
account to receive the transactions. Do the transactions show up?

The list at the bottom of the File menu will let you get back to
your real file easily.

Cycle ended on the 8th so since the 9th new transactions have been
logged. If I look in an export file from AMEX, the transactions are
there so I don't know what to make of the fact that it says the import
has been completed (if I do it manually) but nothing is showing up
except for the correct balance.

I honestly believe this is a Money problem.

Did your AMEX account start a new billing cycle? Your situation should
self-correct and the past transactions will eventually download to your
account register. If this doesn't happen within 3-5 days, I would
recommend contacting AMEX.
