So, from the subject but not the text of your question, I infer that you
have Money 2005 on the laptop?

Default money 2000 and 2005

My laptop runs windows xp, my desktop runs windows me. I have money 2000 on
the desktop and I am trying to transfer the back up from my laptop to my desk
top using my backup on a floppy disk. Its starts restoring the backup and
then asks for a password, I never created a password. How can I share the
file on both computers?
