| BTW, I restored the 20Meg file on my laptop, and the 10 meg file on another PC, and as far as I can tell, at least with respect to account list and the entries in the last month, both were the same. Bizarre. "Piraisoli" wrote: - quote - > I backed up Money today and I noted that the file size was about 10 Meg, but > the backup last week was closer to 20 meg. | The algorithms of internal data compacting and how that maps to the size of the backup file are a mystery. I've never seen a 50% swing before, but I've seen +5MB/-0MB on 65MB. | I backed up Money today and I noted that the file size was about 10 Meg, but the backup last week was closer to 20 meg. I thought there might be something wrong with the backup I just did, so I did the backup again, to another location, and still it was 10 Meg. What would explain the drastic change? Nothing was deleted during the week. Thanks. |
