I'm unclear on what you've actually looked at. Have you tried View Reports
from the left column of the budget summary? The Monthly budget gives a
single total view, and you can choose different time periods. The Annual
budget gives a per-month view of the entire year.

Default Budget in Money 2006

In Budget Summary, there are many options. I want to see a monthly
Year-to-Date, not Year-to-Date. In other words, I want to compare my YTD
actuals against YTD budgeted. However, I can not find such an option. It
only compares the YTD actuals against the Yearly budget.

If I have missed it, pleased let me know.

Thanks
Robert
