The additional detail is that accounts affected by transfers must all be IN
the budget or OUT of the budget. Otherwise the transactions will be lumped
into the special "Transfers into" or "Transfer out of" categories of the
budget, and those descriptions cannot be revised in any way.

Accounts are configured as budget or non-budget on the details page of each
account.

You can select
Tools-> Settings-> AccountSettings(global)-> DisplayAllAccountsIn...Advanced

Then at the bottom of the category drop-down list under the SPECIAL
heading is Transfer. The sub-category is the account that the
transfer is to/from.

Default New User: Transfers between Accounts

After getting fed up with Quicken not being able to download the correct
information from my Schwab account I downloaded the trial version of Money
today. I must say that so far it is much easier to use with Quicken but I
have a couple of issues:
1. Is there a way to set-up a category that is not income or expense but
rather a transfer to Investment Account or transfer to Checking, etc? When I
view reports it is thrown off by these types of transfers.
2. Is there a way to change asset allocation categories to included
International equities, etc.?

Thanks
