Between my posting on the 12th and today, I don't know when MS did this, but it was probably within the last week or so. | When does MS typically update Money Tax Settings? In past years MS automatically updates the Tax Settings (for Single, Married, etc.) reflecting tax brackets, exemption/deduction cutoffs, etc. for the current tax year sometime during the year. Does anyone remember when during the year these usually appear? (Clicking on Update tax data in the tax section to force the issue ain't doing it.) Or do you already have correct data for 2006 (M05 or M06 users)? (IRS has released the data--see instructions for making 2006 estimated quarterly payments.) I have M04 and don't remember when 2005 data came in. So far I am using the Custom setting with hand entered data for the current year--2006 tax settings. |
