Default Re: Settin Up Equity Options

I do have the 2006 Standard Edition, but before upgrading from the 2005
Standard Edition, I had no problem with equity options. Option positions
opened under Money 2005 work okay under 2006; I just can't set up any new
ones. My current fix (a poor substitute for doing it right) is to edit an
expired option and change the name and other details.

Nothing I can find on the Money website comparing Standard, Deluxe, and
Premium says anything about equity options, implying that options are
available in all...as they seem to have been in Money 2005.

Not all vintages of Money have "Equity/Index Option", and I don't
think standard does anyway, tho I may be wrong on that last point.

Default Settin Up Equity Options

I'm having trouble setting up equity options. When I set up the investment
and get to the instruction in the User's Guide that says "Under Create New
Investment, click Equity/Index Option", I don't have an Equity/Index Option
choice. I've tried the Index, Mutual Fund, Other, Stock investment options
but, when I try to "sell to open" a covered call, I'm told that option is not
available for the investment type.

How do I set the correct investment type for equity options?
