I can't seem to get this to work. I add 1 share. I go to account summary and
update the number of shares to 0. When I go back to the account register, it
shows the quantity as 0. When I look at the investment, it shows 1 share
added and 1 share removed.

It doesn't.

So I must delete the investment? Will that affect of my previous stock
entries?

Portfolio> Work with Investments> Delete an investment from all accounts.

If the target investment is gray, the number of shares held is not exactly
0. If it's supposed to be, you have to fix that to enable deleting the
investment.

The register has a default display precision of 3 decimals, I think. Money
may round to 0 anything between 0 and 0.000x. That makes it look like 0
shares are left, when there are 0.000x. That prevents deleting the
investment.

1. In each account where you had activity, add 1 share.
2. Go to account summary and update number of shares to 0.
3. Go back to investment register. Edit the quantity by removing the 1
digit. The result may be some small number between 0 and 1, probably less
than 0.001.
4. Remove the add shares for 1.

After editing each account, see if the target investment is no longer gray
on the delete investment list. Eventually you'll find the errant account
concealing the small fractional share.

This process worked for me to accomplish what you request. The account
editing may not be necessary if the investments you want to delete are not
grayed out when you try.

Default Removing Investments From Home Page "Investments" Portal

On my home page I have an "Investments" portal that lists all the
stocks/funds I own. Is there a way to select which funds/stocks show up
in that portal? It is currently showing a fund I used to own, but do not
own anymore. When I go to the Portfolio view and list my investments, I
have it not show funds I do not own anymore which gets me what I want.
How can I do the same thing on the home page portal?
