I think you are asking how to enter the initial balance from the> I have M'soft 2002 v10.00 point that you want to start tracking transactions in detail. There are two ways: the common one is to enter the balance into the "Starting Balance" field in the account settings/details. During creation of the account you could supply that info. You can right-click the account in the account list to see how to get to the settings/details. Another way is to just enter a transaction into the register. That transaction would pre-date the real transactions. Typically that would be a "deposit". Explain in the memo. Speaking of the register, Ctrl+T will toggle the single-line and multi-line formats. I like the multi-line. |
