I think Money for the Pocket PC prefers to be installed on the device. Some
other versions fail when installed on an SD card.

Sounds great. This give me some hope. Can you tell me:
1. What is your ROM version (Mine is A06)
2. Any thing special you did before install the program?
3. Did you install the program on SD card or on device. I tried install it
on SD card since I need the space on device.

I have the Dell Axim X51v and WM5 installed with Money 2006 pc and it works
just fine on my unit. Can input items on the Dell and they input to Money
2006 just fine.

Agreed that is how a normal logical individual would view it but Microsoft
tell me very clearly Mobile 5.0 is not supported. I suspect WM 5.0 won't be
supported until M2007 hits the streets!

I don't get it. I installed some software that designed for Windows Mobile
2002/2003 Pocket PC. They work fine in my new Axim. I think Mobile 5.0
(pocket PC) should be backward compitable for software designed for Windows
Mobile 2003, right?

Default Money 2006 Pocket PC does not work
I installed the downloaded money 2006 ppc to my new Dell Axim x51v that comes
with windows mobile 5.0 installed. The installation process seems ok,
however, when I tried to run it form Axim it poped up a message said some
components not found and I need reinstall the program. Anyone know the
solution?
