Default Re: Updating Stock Prices

Thank you for the suggestion. It seems to work. I
removed the specific stocks I suspect can't be updated
through MSN. Quicken couldn't update them either.
Anyway, as soon as I took them off the list the rest
seemed to update ok. I found a couple that didn't and I
am not sure what happened but it is far better than it
was. Unfortunately, this doesn't seem to be "known"
through out Microsoft as one of their support persons is
having me do all sorts of things in an attempt to solve
the problem.

Thanks again.

I have spent several days trying to figure this out. I
have unchecked and rechecked boxes, I have checked all
symbols, I have clear quote hisory, but I can't get stocks
to update current prices consistantly. It looks like it
is cimmunicating with the internet but the message still
reflects the date of the last update. There is no pattern
other than I can update and then 10 minutes later repeat
the process and nothing happens.

Did you mean to say "could NOT get"? What are, at least some of, the
symbols that did not update?
