You can buy the Deluxe version at Sam's for ~$25 without rebate.

Also, it turns out there was a very simple workaround. All I needed to do was
to change the account type from "Credit Card" to "Bank". Then I was able to
directly edit those fields. After that, I just changed the account type back
to "Credit Card", and all is well.

Ahh, thanks for trying so hard. Apparently, using just the "Standard"
Version, I don't even have the Debt Reduction Planner (which I was using in
past versions). However, I got a simple answer to this problem from MS
Support...

"Based on the feedback from our Product Team, this behavior is because the
"Change Credit Details" option is not included the Money 2006 Standard
Edition."

heh...go figure

Go to the register, click on 'Change account settings' in the left pane. The
'account type' field should be the third one down from the top. What does it
say?

Scroll down past Register Detail and Balance Information. Do you have a
Credit Information section? If so, is there a Credit Limit field, even if
you can't fill it in? Is there a button to the right?

If there is no button there, let's try a workaround: Go to the Debt
Reduction Planner (DRP): Click Planning, Planning Tools, Debt Reduction
Planner. I'm assuming you don't have any credit accounts in the DRP.
Highlight the account in question and click the Move Up button at the
bottom. Highlight the account now in the upper pane. The Edit Debt Info
button at the bottom should no longer be grayed out. Click it. What do you
get?

Are you using basic register? Or advanced? I don't know of that would affect
it, but basic does disable a lot of features considered by many to be
important.

I've no idea if it helped the original poster, but it seems I have the same
issue, and it didn't help me.

I'm using Money 2006 Standard, and converted my info over from the 2005
version. When I go into "Change account settings" for my credit card account,
under the "Credit Information" section, I can see the details such as credit
limit and interest rate, but there is no "Change Credit Details" button there
for me to, well, change any of that information.

This is even the case when I try to create the account from scratch. The
option to change credit card details is just not available at all.

Default "Change Credit Details" button does not appear

I would like to update my interest rates and credit limits monthly, but the
"Change Credit Details" button does not appear when I go under the accounts'
settings.
