Default Re: Transactions by category report

All the reports can be customized without opening them. R-click on the
report name and then select customize.

This would be possible if the report would come up at all. If you use the
pie chart on the home page, click "More", change to a report instead of a pie
chart and customize the report to rows - subcategory, columns - total only,
and sort by - subcategory, you can get a very basic report. It appears that
the data is there, but the normal report will not do anything except to
immediatly revert back to the reports home page. Thanks.

I suggest you customize the report in narrow, binary, increments till you
find the problem transaction(s). Try including half the accounts, then the
other half. Whichever half fails, try half of those then the remaining half.
When you get it down to one or two accounts, then try date halves. Just
because Money repair doesn't solve it does not mean that there is not still
some fubar data.

Default Transactions by category report

I am using Money 05 for Small Business. This report has always worked
before. Now it attempts to load, then reverts to the home page. I have a
seperate file for my brothers accounts and it still work in that file. A
category had been incorrectly assigned. The trasactions were reassigned and
the incorrect category was deleted. No report. Changing the suspect back to
its original state and adding the incorrect category does not help. Repair
Money File does not help. Only other possibility was skipping an occurrence
of a scheduled bill. Suggestions anyone? Thanks
