Gee, I can just got exactly what you are asking for using that report and my
data from Money 2004, though I didn't get sums. (I'd be thinking Account
Transactions for that one.) It took less than a minute to go through all of
the tabs to make sure I would get what I wanted. And I did. Are you sure you
have checked the customization?

That comes up empty. I guess Retirement Account transactions are not
considered Investment Transactions or something?

That report seems fairly useless and doesn't work right. I have many
Investment Accounts set up - according to Account List - yet 90% of the
accounts do NOT show up in this report, even though there was activity in
Previous Year and I do go in and choose Select All Accounts under Customize.

I can't believe that under Reports -> Taxes that you can't get an accurate
representation of your Tax information. IRA contributions for a previous year
should certainly be on that report I would think. Even when you set up an IRA
account, it tells you to set it up as a Retirement Account so it shows up on
the Tax reports, yet it doesn't even though the account is set up properly.

I guess I have to dig through my accounts manually and use paper and
calculator to get the information I need. Sad.

Investment Transactions customized for the IRA Accounts and the Previous
Year period?

Default can I track IRA contributions?

I have several mutual fund accounts set up as retirement accounts, and
periodically buy shares in them as a monthly IRA contribution from my
checking account. Is there any way I can get a report at the end of the year
of all my IRA contributions for the previous year? You would think that by
running Reports-> Taxes-> Tax Related Transactions that they would show up, but
no such luck.

The category of each transaction in my checking account is Buy Investment/CD
which generates an activity of "Buy" in the investment transactions of the
mutual fund account.

I'm still on Money 2004.
