If you are adept at editing the registry, you can change the reference to refer to your hard drive rather than your CD drive. If you are not adept at that, find a friend who is. The path need not actually exist on the hard drive. |

| In Money 2000 (on Windows XP), sometimes (but not always) when I open the program I get an error message titled "Windows - No Disk" that says "There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into the drive". It has the options to "cancel", "try again" or "continue". I need to "cancel" or "continue" before I can do aything. This seems unrelated to whether I have a floppy or a CD in one of the drives. The error message will then pop up every single time I click a link within Money, e.g. "Bills", and has to be closed manually each time. I don't have Money set to make any backups to disk so I don't know what it's referring to, and anyway I don't always get the error messages. Has anyone else had this problem and do they know how to fix it? |
