Default Re: Layout/Toolbar Customization?

The M05+ layout is much more attuned to the five menu/tool bars than to
actually seeing data. It isn't customizable.

Default Layout/Toolbar Customization?

Is there any way to shrink the size of the navigation toolbar buttons (like
you can do with IE)? Or make it disappear completely? I use a five-button
mouse and don't need these controls. I just upgraded from Money 2004 and am
generally disappointed with the layout. This new version doesn't seem to be
1024x768 friendly, but I can't make the resolution on my laptop any higher.
I can't fit all of my old icons at top of the screen anymore because of the
size of the navigation toolbar.

I am happy that the upgrade seems to have repaired some problems with my old
money file though, so I do appreciate that.

I was also disappointed that the Portfolio Manager is wasting so much space.
The margins around the list box view are huge (16 px), and there are two
large frames at the top and the bottom that are mostly whitespace (64px and
48px high, respectively). I used to be able to see all of my investments
from my three accounts on one screen (no vertical scrollbar). Does it really
take 64px to say "Portfolio Manager" and 48 px to say "Quotes delayed at
least 20 minutes"? I would rather see more stock/fund information. I was
thinking that the "Quotes delayed ..." message was in the left panel in the
last version. It should have stayed there.

The Budget Summary suffers from layout issues too. I can only see 8 lines
in the listbox at a time! The "Spending Tracker" and "Accounts included in
this budget summary" applets at the bottom are taking up a lot of space. Is
there any way to make these go away so I can see more than 8 budget items at
a time?

The application looks really pretty. They've obviously put a lot of time
into choosing an attractive theme. Unfortunately I'm just having a difficult
time visualizing my data.
